About Me
Born and raised in the suburbs of Philadelphia, I grew up with two loves: Philadelphia sports teams, and video games. The latter fueled my desire to be who I am today. Instead of concentrating more on beating a game, I wanted to know how the game worked. The internet and I were both young, but I read everything I could find on the computer about programming.
It wasn't until college when I got my first formal programming education. Majoring in Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Rowan University, I developed my strong foundation for proper programming techniques and styles. I knew this was definitely what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
With a strong understanding of Object Oriented Programming, I wanted to try my hand at Flash. Flash quickly became a hobby for me. It combined my love of programming with a desire to view a tangible, graphical output. I played around. I created. I innovated. And within a few years, I understood Actionscript better than any other language I had learned at school.
Although I never stopped learning new things with Flash and Actionscript, I began delving into the widely used realm of HTML and CSS to broaden my horizons. I wanted to make web pages as individual and unique as each company/client/person. Now equipped with a wider range of knowledge, I can confidently welcome each new, challenging task and attack it with enthusiasm and pride.
About my team
I am very blessed to have a team of contractors who love what they do and are awesome at it. We all work from our own home offices and enjoy a calm work environment. My team and I are in constant contact throughout the day through Basecamp, iChat, phone, or email. We get together briefly over iChat to discuss the project, then it's back to work. We don't let meetings get in the way of production. And we have a lot of fun working together. The size of my team fluctuates based on the size of the project.
